Guacamole
Guacamole is the classic Mexican avocado dip, mashed just enough to keep some texture and brightened with lime, onion, cilantro, and chile. Simple, fresh, and endlessly versatile, it's a staple alongside tacos, tostadas, or a bowl of tortilla chips.

- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/4 white onion, finely diced
- 1 Roma tomato, seeded and diced
- 1 serrano or jalapeño pepper, finely minced
- 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro

Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork or potato masher, leaving it slightly chunky rather than completely smooth.

- Season with salt and mix gently to combine, being careful not to overmash the mixture.
- Taste and adjust lime juice, salt, or heat as needed.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, pressing plastic wrap directly onto the surface if not serving right away to limit air exposure.
