Homemade Chicken Nuggets
Crispy, golden, and made from real chicken breast, these homemade nuggets taste even better than the drive-thru version kids beg for. A seasoned panko crust bakes up perfectly crunchy while the inside stays juicy and tender.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Set up a breading station: one bowl with flour, salt, and pepper; one bowl with eggs whisked with water; and one bowl with panko mixed with garlic powder and paprika.
- Dredge each chicken cube in the flour, dip in the egg wash, then press firmly into the seasoned panko to coat all sides.
- Arrange the breaded nuggets in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving space between pieces, and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let cool for 2 minutes before serving with favorite dipping sauces.
