Overnight Oats

Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats (old-fashioned, not instant)
- 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, oat, or almond)
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- to taste Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup fresh berries, for topping
- 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or almonds, for topping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl or two individual jars, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Stir thoroughly until everything is well combined and no dry oats remain at the bottom.
- Cover the jars or bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight (8-12 hours).
- In the morning, stir the oats and add a splash more milk if you prefer a looser consistency.
- Top with fresh berries and chopped nuts just before serving.
- Enjoy cold, straight from the fridge.
