  1. Cut the carrots, oranges, ginger, lemon, and apple (if using) into pieces small enough to fit your juicer's chute.
  2. Run the carrots through the juicer first, followed by the ginger, then the citrus and apple.
  3. Stir the juice well since the pulp and juice can separate.
  4. Taste and add a squeeze more lemon if you want extra brightness, or a touch more ginger for more heat.
  5. Pour over ice in tall glasses and serve immediately for the best flavor and nutrition.
