Carrot Orange Ginger Juice

Ingredients
- 6 medium carrots, scrubbed and trimmed
- 2 large oranges, peeled
- to taste 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
- 1/2 lemon, peeled
- 1 apple, cored (optional, for extra sweetness)
- to taste Ice, for serving
Instructions
- Cut the carrots, oranges, ginger, lemon, and apple (if using) into pieces small enough to fit your juicer's chute.
- Run the carrots through the juicer first, followed by the ginger, then the citrus and apple.
- Stir the juice well since the pulp and juice can separate.
- Taste and add a squeeze more lemon if you want extra brightness, or a touch more ginger for more heat.
- Pour over ice in tall glasses and serve immediately for the best flavor and nutrition.
