Blueberry Lavender Lemonade
A floral, vibrant purple lemonade made from a homemade blueberry-lavender simple syrup mixed with fresh lemon juice and cold water. Bright, tart, and delicately perfumed, it's a beautiful warm-weather sipper.

Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender buds
- 1 cup water (for syrup)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6-8 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water (for serving)
- to taste Ice, for serving
- to taste Fresh lemon slices and blueberries, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the blueberries, lavender buds, water, and sugar.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, mashing the blueberries gently with a spoon as they soften, for about 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let steep for 10 minutes, then strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a jar, pressing to extract all the syrup; discard the solids.
- Let the syrup cool completely.
- In a large pitcher, combine the blueberry-lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, and cold water; stir well.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness with more syrup or lemon juice as needed.
- Serve over ice garnished with lemon slices and a few fresh blueberries.
